BACKSTORY

While I am willing to share a few details of Zeiro's life here, it is always better to come and learn his story through interaction and natural progression. This is merely a portion of his story to give an example of who Zeiro is.

Born in the steppes, but not having the opportunity to be raised there, the sect of his tribe had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting metal men of the north. Most were killed but few were spared to be taken to join the ranks of the great Garlean empire. a mere child, Zeiro, who's true name is lost to time, was taken to be assimilated to become a model Garlean conscript.Spending much of his youth in the garlean capitol Zeiro was educated and conditioned for military service, Whereupon reaching proper age was enlisted to join the IVth Imperial Legion.Sent to Bozja to join the conflict, Zeiro soon found that what he was taught and what the realities of being an auri conscript were vastly different. Exposed to numerous unspeakable acts of abuse and neglect, Zeiro knew it was only a matter of time before he was no longer of use, and refusing to let them break his spirit, he continued to fight for survival, hoping oe day he would be free of the hell he was placed in. It wasn't for many more years that finally Zeiro reached a breaking point, and instead of giving in and accepting his fate, he fled in the middle of a skirmish, rushing towards the Bozjan lines. Whatever awaited him there couldn't be any worse than what he had been currently living.It was a gamble that paid off. Rescused by the Bozjan Resistance, Zeiro was taken in and cared for. The sins accumulated through various battles soon forgiven and becoming nothing more than bad memories. Opting to stay, Zeiro raised arms with the Bozjans to repel the Imperial Legion and for the first time, fought as a free man. Eventually even being trained and accepted into the ranks of the Gunbreakers, Zeiro was gifted his very first gunblade. A weapon he proudly carried into battle.But not all wars last, and eventually, the Bozjan with the help of the Eastern Alliances, were able to repel their enemies, and Zeiro, who had dedicated over two decades of his life to this war... Had no more battles to fight. When deciding to do with his new found freedom, there was only one thing that Zeiro wanted: To see the world that had been taken from him. Packing his belongings, Zeiro said his goodbyes, and for the first time, left the Bozjan borders to experience the world for the first time.Having travelled extensively since then, Zeiro now travels the countryside working as a bounty hunter, looking to help those in need, and keeping the shadows from creeping out and devouring the light. While no hero, he'll do his part to protect any who need it.

While I'm rather cool with most reasons to interact, if you're looking for something more specific, then here are a few ideas to work with!Bounty Hunting - Perhaps you're a fellow hunter, or maybe you've ended up on one too many wanted posters.Bozjan resistance - A veteran of the bozjan wars, Zeiro often thinks back to his life during that time and often wonders if there are others out there from either side who lived a similar life.The worst xaela ever - While zeiro is indeed a xaela, the poor boy speaks like a garlean, acts like a bozjan and knows absolutely nothing about xaela customs which has led to many an interesting struggle when meeting members of his own race.I'll be sure to post more ideas, but if you're interested in meeting Zeiro please send me a tell or simply find me in the open world and say hello!

A little about me

  • I have been in the rp game for over 20 years with 10 years dedicated to final fantasy xiv.

  • happily married and not looking to have that altered in any way.

  • I am open to most forms of RP, and am quite comfortable with most topics. However Nothing too wild here. Let's keep it tasteful

  • prefer to rp with those 21+ for the above reasons

  • Tend to match my rp partners writing style, though am fine with long paragraph style posts, or short little quips. whatever is comfortable.

The rp rules i try to follow

  • IC and ooc shall never mix. just because zeiro has a thing for your miqo'te girl doesn't mean i'm thirsting after you. Zeiro's attachements are not a reflection of my own.

  • I tend to stick pretty close to the in game lore of final fantasy, however because it's sometimes spotty at best, i'm willing to work for certain aspects of lore bending. not sure about something, just ask! we can talk about it and maybe work something out!

  • While Zeiro will probably flirt with your female character if given the chance, it is not by any way a reason to initiate ERP. Let's keep it wholesome!

  • If someone is uncomfortable with something happening in RP, I am very open to talk about it OOC and/or stop. OOC communication is welcome at any time.

  • Combat RP is fine, as are the injuries that come with it, but if anything more is to happen, let's talk about it ooc! No dying though.
